Initial Player Signing

This is how we introduce new Player Tokens to the app.

Player shares are issued in limited batches of up to 10,000,000 (ten million) tokens each. As part of an "Initial Player Signing" (IPS), an initial batch is made available for sale.

All player signings are announced in advance through the app, our social media channels, and via email so you can prepare for your purchase. The trading windows during which the initial sale takes place will be displayed in the app.

The Purchase Price of a Player Token

The purchase price of a player token is determined at the initial issuance based on the player's value on Transfermarkt.de (divided by 10,000,000). Supply and demand determine the sale price on the secondary market. However, sale prices on the secondary market generally fluctuate in line with the transfer market values on Transfermarkt.de, as the value of the "buyback option" is linked to the respective Transfermarkt.de values.

The initial price of a player token is derived from the current market price of the football player on Transfermarkt.de. The calculation is simple: if the market value of a player is set at 10 million euros, the token price on the EML platform will be 1 euro.
